Building a Website
8/17/2024
I want to talk a little bit about why I am maing this website.
- I am a Cybersecurity major at Northern Arizona University. Included in my required classes are several web development classes. What better way to learn that skill than through personal practice? I am not sure how useful it will be in my future career, but might as well use it now.
- There was something special about the early days of the world wide web back when hobbyists made brightly-colored (somewhat ugly) personal websites. I hope that makes a resurgence (especially considering the onset of AI) so I want to contribute something a little more "real" to the bland monotony that makes up so much of the internet.
- Every artists needs a portfolio right? and I think this is more fun and versatile than just having a social media account.
